HomeCure Privacy Notice

Effective date: 1 November 2026 · Version: 1.0

1. Who we are

HomeCure is operated by Critical Solutions for Medical Services, a one-person limited liability company registered in Egypt, with its registered office at Office 2, Apartment 7, 24 El Shaheed Mostafa Riad Street, First Area, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt (commercial register no. 275927; tax registration no. 769-549-279) (“we”, “us”). We run an app that lets patients and families book home care visits from licensed healthcare providers.

This notice covers three products: the patient/family app, the provider app (for licensed clinicians), and the admin web console (used by our staff). We are the party that decides how your data is used (the “controller”) under Egypt Law No. 151 of 2020 on the Protection of Personal Data (“the Law”).

HomeCure operates solely as an intermediary platform connecting patients with licensed physicians and other licensed healthcare professionals and facilitating appointment booking and coordination. HomeCure does not itself provide medical services, practise medicine, or offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Medical services are provided directly by the relevant licensed healthcare professional, who exercises independent clinical judgment and is responsible for the care they provide in accordance with applicable law and professional standards. The clinical relationship is between the patient and the treating healthcare professional. This description of our role does not limit our responsibilities as a data controller under this notice or any obligations or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. HomeCure is not an emergency service

In an emergency, call 123 immediately. Do not use HomeCure to request urgent or life-threatening care. Home visits booked through the app are scheduled services.

3. What data we collect

  • Account data: your name, mobile phone number, and date of birth.
  • Address: where visits take place.
  • Family members: details of relatives you add so that you can book care for them.
  • Bookings: visit requests, dates, times, and status.
  • Health information: visit reports and clinical notes written by your provider.
  • Files you upload: for example documents or images you attach to a booking.
  • Payment records: receipts and records of your payments. Payment is currently in cash; we plan to add InstaPay and card payments and will update this notice before we do.

Health information is sensitive personal data and we handle it with extra care.

4. Why we use your data

We use your data to:

  • create and secure your account and verify your phone number;
  • book, assign, and carry out home care visits by licensed providers;
  • let providers record visit reports and clinical notes, and let you see them;
  • record payments and issue receipts;
  • keep clinical records as the law and good medical practice require;
  • contact you about your bookings;
  • keep the service safe, fix problems, and meet our legal duties.

We do not sell your personal data. We also do not use it for advertising or marketing.

5. Who can see your data

  • Your assigned provider sees what they need to carry out your visit.
  • Our staff using the admin console see only what their role requires. Access is role-based and limited to what each person needs.
  • Authorities or courts, only when the law requires it.

6. Uploaded files and security

Every file you upload is scanned for viruses on our own servers before it is made available. We also use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone private.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Clinical records (visit reports and clinical notes): at least 10 years.

If you close your account, we delete or anonymise data we no longer need, but we must keep clinical records for the period above.

8. Your consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it, and give it again, at any time in the app (Home > Consent & privacy > Withdraw consent; to give consent again, use “Give consent again” in the same section). Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you withdrew. If you withdraw consent we need to deliver care, we may not be able to book new visits. Records we must keep by law stay in place.

9. Your rights

Under the Law you may ask us to:

  • access the data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • export a copy of your data;
  • close your account and delete data we are not required to keep.

Email . We may need to confirm your identity first. Clinical notes are written by providers, so corrections to them may be added as an amendment rather than replacing the original.

10. Family members and children

If you add a relative, you confirm that you are allowed to act for them (for example, as a parent, guardian, or caregiver) and that they, or their legal representative, know their data is being shared with us. You must be 18 or older to create your own account.

11. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our practices change, and tell you in the app before significant changes take effect.

12. Contact and complaints

Website privacy information

Using the enquiry panel

The homepage enquiry panel works in your browser. It uses your selected service and optional district name to prepare a WhatsApp link. It does not ask for symptoms or a full address, call an AI model, store your entries, or send them to HomeCure when you make a selection. When you open WhatsApp, the prepared text is passed to WhatsApp; you decide whether to send the message to HomeCure.

Calling and opening WhatsApp

A WhatsApp link opens a prepared service enquiry. You decide whether to send it. WhatsApp processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. If you send a message to HomeCure, HomeCure receives the message and the contact details made available through that channel.

Website delivery and logs

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Website delivery and security can involve technical information such as IP addresses and request details. Do not include symptoms or personal records in page addresses. This site’s enquiry panel does not create a patient record.

Before sharing medical information

Ask the coordinator which channel to use, who will receive the information, why it is needed, and how it will be retained. Contact HomeCure through the published number for questions about access, correction or deletion of information you have shared.
